?Work to create a self-portrait from observation to reflect your response to the question of “Who Am I?”

- Think of how your final work will look like. Make thumbnail sketches of your ideas in colour. Annotate to remind yourself how your identity can be represented symbolically in the work. You can incorporate elements from your personal tree or other items that you deemed suitable. Keep these sketches and we will use them to discuss your actual painting.

- We will work on these portraits for two weeks (17 & 24 Jan)

• For your next Studio Task, conceptualize an alternative portrait about how your ‘self’ can be represented with a purposeful manipulation of material(s)/technique. You must be able to state your intentions and influences that shaped your work.
