1. Title OF Magazine you wish to produce?

Diverse Magazine

2. Explanation of Choice of Genre?

Indie/RockI am very familiar with this genre as this is the type of music I listen too so I am familiar with the artists, songs, what would appear in this genre’s magazine. I read magazines such as Q and NME so I understand what needs to be included in the magazine, such as the type of language that is used and what main article ideas that are involved in this genre.

3. Target Audience?

My target audience is people aged 16 – 25 as this is the most popular age range from the questionnaire. Be for both sexes and people who enjoy a mix of Indie and Rock.

4. Initial idea about Front Cover?

Will contain either a solo artist on the front or a band of 4 people starting out who is the main topic of the magazine. It will be with a musical instrument lying down looking at camera from below.

5. Initial idea about contents page?

Contents page will be kept simple with a main image on page but with other sub-categorised images round the page. The writing will be simple down the left hand side.

6. Initial idea about double page spread?

Main image going over the second page so that it looks connected with the following page. Text about half of one page with a drop cap in place, quotations on page to draw in the reader. Puffs and other album related images in place.

7. Initial ideas about Photographs?

Photographs will fit the pages well as they will be generalized around music and the band or solo artist on the front cover. If band on front they will be looking up at camera. Contents page will be different artist and other sub images which will go with the text on the page. Double page will include one big image of the band in the main topic and some other small images of them.
