Introduction Veritec, Inc., is a pioneer and patent-holder in two-dimensional (2D) matrix coding technology. VeriCode® 2D Matrix
VeriCode® The VeriCode® Symbol is a small, checkerboard-like matrix, that has the highest data density and was developed by Veritec during the late 1980s and was endorsed by NASA as its code of choice. With four solid borders making it a robust code, each symbol contains much more information than the standard one-dimensional bar code, in less space.

Can be read on curved or textured surfaces

VSCode™ In 2003, Veritec developed and patented the VSCode® and increased the capacity to over 4,000 bytes of information. Because of its high data capacity, VSCode™ becomes a portable data-storage container, ideal for storing text data and/or biometric information such as a fingerprint template, facial image, hand configuration or skin texture. The data can be instantly obtained without the need of a central database and securely stored with a biometric key.

Wireless PhoneCodes – Veritec has integrated VeriCode® together with wireless multimedia technology to introduce a revolutionary method of purchasing gift cards, venue tickets, or to redeem promotional coupons. This highly interactive efficient shopping tool allows customers to purchase tickets and gift cards at retail shops, on-line websites, or by phone and have them sent electronically to the recipient via their wireless phone or PDA. When the customer goes to redeem their gift (GiftCode™), ticket (TicketCode™), or coupon (CouponCode™) the 2-D VeriCode® image on the cell phone screen will be scanned for the purchase or to allow entry access to the venue.
