Unemployment in the past was largely artif-ically created through manipulation of value byWall Street and its correlates. ~ Ultimately, theFET will foster many creative activities both “pub-lic” and “private,” helping to offset jobs lostthrough the collective actions mentioned above.

▲ Part of the Great Cool Down, is a Mandate thatall products manufactured and sold be factoredinto Reclamation and Recycling Centers. That is, ifit’s made, it will be recycled when its lifecycle isover. NO WASTE is the goal; hence the need forcreating landfills (using up valuable earthresources for a dubious, distasteful end) isreduced. Anything that can be reused, can be recy-cled. No company will have a selective advantageby being a “waster,” who had been allowed to off-set the cost of wasting resources and damagingthe planet onto the public and future generationsthrough the perverse incentives of Wall Street-driven investment mechanisms and models.

3. GREEN BANK. Facilitating the Redirection ofIndustrial/Manufacturing/Mass Transportationefforts.

Example: if a loan is made by abanking institution at 5%, savers would receive2.5% on their savings (or half the rate of the loan).They are uncoupled at present, with loans to busi-ness and individuals at rates much higher than thatpaid to savers (virtually nill). This action is possible,as “our” banks serve “us,” and not the dictates ofWall Street, and their “Dark Lords,” so can offer a“fair rate of return.”
