A leading chinese new generation design firm based in Beijing, and lead by Zhang Ke, Zhang Hong and Claudia Taborda.As a project manager and lead architect, I was responsible for the development and coordination of Standardarchitecture’s design team and consultants for the Novartis project. Novartis is a company well know to assign projects to the most influential architectural firms worldwide, where, I was not only managing the project but also representing the office in several occasions.Work: Concept, coordination of the design team and consultants, approval with the authorities, construction drawings.

Based in Shanghai, Polifactory is a partnership between young, but internationally-experienced architecture and design professionals with expertise in multiple disciplines. As lead architect, I am responsible to coordinate the design team and project development.Work: Concept, planning, management, documentation, construction design and construction follow up.

As an associated partner, I was responsible for construction design and management of the projects. Work: design team and consultants coordination, authorities approval, construction drawings, construction follow up, interior design, furniture design, documentation.

About Designed to display the life and work of Abelardo Lafuente, a Spanish architect, who lived in China in the beggining of the last century and whose legacy was, until recently, unknown. The exhibition was held at the South Bund 22 one of the historical buildings of Shanghai.

About The concept of this project is to recreate this transitory space by offsetting the facade of the building itself, this entity is then materialized by a steel mesh, probably one of the most common materials used for construction, and by that reason, reusable.
