Title: SemiquaversLevel: PreliminaryLearning Area: Rhythm Student Outcome:Students will be able to recall semibreve, minim, crotchet, quaver, semiquaver and dotted minim and crotchet note and rest values and write and play them correctly in an 8 bar rhythm.

To Create the Folder Games:Print the Game PagesPlace the Game Pages in plastic pockets and insert into your Preliminary Folder in order Print the Game CardsCut the Game Cards apart along the linesLaminate or cover the game cards as desiredPlace the game cards into the appropriate game page plastic pocket
Instructions: Learn Pages 1 & 2: Colour the words, note, rest, one quarter of the circles and complete the bars. Wipe the Game Pages clean when completed.Remember Page: Complete the grid with the notes and rest symbols listed in Column 1.

1. Player 1 rolls 2 dice and writes down their combined value somewhere in Column 1 on their Game Card. They complete Column 2 using any notes or rests to the value of the dice roll. No symbol may be used more than once.
2. Player 2 repeats Step 1.3. Play continues until the Game Cards are completed.4. Players add up their total dice values.5. The winner is the player with the highest total score.6. Wipe the game page clean when completed.
