What is it

• Discuss semantic technology issues limited to or intensified in government practice– Managing reification related to cross-domain security

attribution

• Reach government employees that attended SemTech 2007 that may not attend other semantic technology events, such as OIC or SiCoP– Information / experience sharing

• Orient SemTech 2008 discussions to our domain(s)

Page 3: SemTech 2008 May 18 – 22, 2008 San Jose, CA

How it works

• Guided discussion (similar to “fishbowl” discussions at SemTech 2007)– Nominate issues to discuss; issues selected based on demand

and importance– Issues selected will be brought to floor for discussion w/ possible

guest speaker(s) to start discussion and moderator– Not a vendor presentation

• Invited experts– May have invited experts

• Oracle, Franz, Aduna Software, etc experts if an issue is best practices for managing RDF triples for triple reification

• One day in length, unless demand suggests more• Trial operation to determine usefulness / feasibility at

future SemTech conferences
