SACRED HEART CHURCH 125 Walsh St — Wolf Creek, MT
1st Reading: Isaiah 50:4c—9a
Isaiah prophesied: I gave my back to those who beat me and my face to buffets and
spitting. I was not disgraced, for when the Lord is with me, how can I be ashamed?
2nd Reading: James 2:14—18
Faith without good works is dead and worth nothing. A person Should not claim to be
Christian without living like one. In vain do we profess faith without practice.
Gospel: Mark 8:27—35
Jesus taught the disciples that the Son of Man must suffer and die. He went on to say
that if they wish to follow him they, too, must deny themselves and take up the cross.

~ Thank you!
Get behind me, Satan. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.

Tween the Masses!
Beginning September 19th and when Faith Formation is scheduled, we will have a
reflective prayer time for adults.
It’ll start at 9:30 in the church and end at 10:00 before the 10:30 mass begins. So, if you’re an 8:00
mass goer, grab a cup of coffee after mass, and join.
If you have kids in Faith Formation, drop them off and join us. And, if you attend the 10:30 mass come
a little early for some personal prayer time!
Hope to see you at
“Tween the Masses!”
Email prayer requests to Jeaneen at [email protected]
