Placing Pontoon Boats

TICKETS TO BYU VS MISSISSIPPI STATE

Mountain Crane recently participated in a fun and unique event. In August, the Utah Olympic Park hosted the Psicobloc, a solo rock climbing competition held over their pool. As a perk for VIP guests, the Olympic Park wanted to provide exclusive seating for the event. Mountain Crane was asked to set 3 pontoon boats into the pool, each weighing about 8,000 pounds. Because of the limited space and delicacy of the surrounding area, extreme caution had to be taken. Additionally, because the event was ongoing, there was a limited time frame to place the boats. Mountain Crane arrived on site at 4pm on Friday afternoon, with the event starting at 6pm that same day. After the event ended, Mountain Crane had to re-turn to the site to remove the 3 boats before 8am Saturday morning.
