September has been an eventful month here at Love UnderDogs.
The crisis in Romania has been at the fore front of our minds and there has been a great deal of work going on behind the scenes. We will keep you updated in Facebook, we’re so grateful for your continued support.
We launched our fabulous October Fundraiser ‘Love UnderDogs, Love Cake. We’re all really excited – any excuse for coffee and CAKE.
The September puppy and kitten Transport went very smoothly and many of these babies have found new homes already.
The World famous Fun Dog Show & Open day was a huge success in spite of the weather. We were thrilled at the number of people who braved the weather!
We are in the process of planning our Crisis Appeals and Transport. We need to support the AMP shelter with food and medication and alieviate the overcrowding problems so they can take in as many dogs as possible

The Love UnderDogs world famous ‘Fun Dog Show & Open Day’ - Sunday 15 September

If you haven’t been to a Love UnderDogs Fun Dog Show and Open Day you have missed a wonderful day out. Despite the weather conditions being dreadful the event on 15th was a huge success and we raised much needed funds. There really is the most amazing atmosphere at these events with all of the Underdog owners swapping stories, all of the dogs getting on and the Dog Show is just such fun.
Kim and Neil – what an amazing couple, whether it’s driving the vans back and forth to France or running the coffee and cake stall at our event – they’re always there to support us.
Thanks must go to everyone who gave us Tombola prizes and baked cakes for us, to everyone who supported us on the day and most of all thank you to the Glebe Farm team. Sheena and Zara work tirelessly to make the event the success it is and together with their amazing volunteers they bring experience and professionalism to ensure that the day runs smoothly and everyone has a really great time.

We raised an amazing £1,772 and we were thrilled that there were 7 dogs reserved too.

We would love you to host an event on 11 October 2013, it could be a fun Tea Party, a Coffee and Cake event at work or maybe a sophisticated Champagne and Cake party in the evening – it’s completely up to you.

When Rick and Roby arrived at Glebe Farm in March last year they had already spent most of their 12 years together at the AMP shelter. We were so determined that they would stay together forever.
Over a year later we have found the perfect home for them; the wonderful Barbara Sears and her husband have fostered them for a while and have now decided to adopt them. An amazing story and it sounds as though everyone just loves the situation.
We now have another duo Sweetpea and Apple who we would love to stay together as they seem to be getting on so well. These ‘tri-paws’ girls are much younger than the old boys, Sweetpea is 4 and Apple is 1. For more information:

‘Forever Home’ News
The gorgeous Missie has found her forever home and is living ‘happily ever after’ with Christine and her family in Herne Bay. There clearly is no shortage of love and affection.
Bo’s Mum Lisa fell in love with Vera when we went to Brasov in July. The amazing news is that Vera (now Bella) has joined the Watkins household in an amazing forever home. It must be wonderful for Bo to have someone who speaks Romanian in the house
Beautiful Aslan has been adopted by Sam and Pete and is living in Edinburgh. We were all so thrilled when he found such a great home.
To date we have rescued and rehomed 239 dogs and cats – thank you to
everyone who has adopted and given these animals a new life.
