Marian Fryer will be GreatlyMissed by CommunityMarian Fryer, of Marian’s Connections, along-time WK Chamber member passedaway on Saturday, September 9, 2017 after a lengthy battle with illness. Her family isplanning a service to celebrate Marian’s lifeand legacy.

Marian was often called the “Mayor ofWheaton” due to her years of active workand commitment to Wheaton.

The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR) safeguards and protectsMaryland’s work environments and encourages improvements inworkplace safety and health. The Division of Labor and Industry’sEmployment Standards Service (ESS) unit handles employmentissues, including enforcement of laws concerning wages and time off.

Tralene Putman has over 15 years of Labor Law experience, and oversees the Division of Laborand Industry, ESS.
