Sequence of Events with Parade Commands
All parade positions and personnel with assigned duties will gather at the door of the front steps of the Legislature for 0900h to walk through the parade and commands and make any last minute adjustments
• Report in to Capt. Schuurman (Deputy Parade Commander) with an update on anticipated cadet numbers. She will determine any combining of units based on numbers and then figure out orientation of units on the parade to keep both sides of the pool relatively even.
All other members will assemble prior to the parade along Legislature Bldg Road (The Key Hole road by the Gun Salute Base) facing south/west, for flighting, and uniform checks prior to 0930h. The band will assemble on the east turnaround of this road. Flight Commanders and Flight Sergeants will be responsible for walking their flights through the parade order.
NLT 1020h, the parade will be assembled to the south of the Legislature Building. Each flight will be in the order determined by Capt. Schuurman. Each flight will be sized and right dressed. Officers will be in position for the march on. The Flag Party will be assembled off the Parade Square but to the east of the dais

PARADE, ELBOW DRESSING, RIGHT DRESS

All members except the extreme right marker on each frontage of the pool takes a steps forward and carries out the right dress. All markers will turn their heads to the right except the furthest right marker
Officers in the front will do an about-turn during the right dress. Flight Markers must align themselves with the rank on the right of them

Flights incline appropriately to be facing inward to the pool and toward the steps of the Legislature building.
As soon as Eyes Front is completed, Flights to be given this command in sequence (not speaking over each other). Sequence will begin with the cadet Flight most southeasterly and work around the pool in a counter clockwise direction.

Flag Party commences marching, the Band commences playing. Flag Party will march east to west across the entire frontage of the parade towards the band. Flag Party Commander uses appropriate commands to spiral counter-march then march to a position between the two Flights on the south end of the pool facing the dais.

The Flag Party Halts in line with the front rank of the flights.

The Officers and the Drum Major Salute and holds until O Canada has finished, then drops as soon as the last note of the anthem is played.
Band Plays General Salute and Oh Canada
After the General Salute, the Parade Commander march forward, halts, salutes the RO, invites him to inspect the Parade. The Parade Commander turns right and the RO accompanies him to inspect the Parade. The band will be inspected first followed by 408 squadron that the cadet squadrons. After the band is inspected, they shall begin playing tunes for the inspection. The front rank only will be inspected. The Flight Commanders stand fast. After each Flight is inspected, the Flight Commanders will reverse the inclines so as to be facing the pool then stand the flights at ease.

The band will follow all marching units. The band will simply march across the front of the parade square to the opposite side, counter march, mark time and halt moving from the left of the dias to the mirror image on the right of the dias.
