Opportunity to sit for PHR certification exam

• Take the exam within one year of graduation

• Within five years of passing the exam, students must acquire two years of exempt-level HR experience

• Demonstrates commitment to HR• Cost is $120 (cost will be much higher if

you take it as a professional)

Qualifications for SHRM student membership:

• You are enrolled in the equivalent of at least six (6) credit hours per semester (or an equivalency thereof) in a degree-seeking program.

• Your coursework, taken or planned, supports a demonstrated interest in HR.
