No more Green Tabs across the top – all navigation buttons are on the left side of the screen
User settings allow for tabs to be hidden if not needed
Each module will have a unique color
stripe and logo that will remain visible when in the module for
easy identification

quickly navigate to the last 10 client profiles accessed
Less and More links will allow you to expand or collapse these as
needed

quickly navigate to up to 10 clients, providers, or administrative functions they visit often.Clients can be added at the profile page, the household page, services page, etc. and will appear protected
with their id numbers in () Less and More links will allow you to expand or collapse these as needed
Edit Favorites link allows users to change the order of the favorites or
delete favorites from the list

Time OutPrior to automatic timeout - new warning
message has now been included!The following warning message will appear if you are
about to be timed out:
Clicking on Continue will reset the timeout clock for another 30 minutes
Clicking on Logoff will log you out and will return you to the log in screen

Collapse & Expand Navigation
Clicking an arrow/triangle will expand a list or a section of the screen
Use the arrows/triangles to open or close a submenu or to create more workspace on the screens
Users can hide the menu if desired, by clicking on the right-hand border of the menu

Household
Create Relationships between records before entering clients into programs or providing services! Click “Start New Household” to begin. Enter the Household TypeDesignate 1 person as “Yes”, Head of Household Relationship to Head of Household = Self
NOTE: Only one member of the household grouping should be listed as the Head of Household. All other member relationships should be based on who was designated the Head of Household. Date Entered* = Date of Intake or Arrival into the
program. Date Removed is NOT the client’s exit from the program!
Clients generally are not removed from the household, even if they exit a program. 15

OverviewThe “Household Overview” will contain a list of all members of client’s household group. Review the overview for accuracy.

Add each member of the household in the “Edit Household” window. Be sure that all members and their relationships appear in the “Household Overview before closing the window.

Assessments
Assessments are sets or groupings of questions. Enter the data elements required by your provider! Each provider can have a different set of assessments available.
Most all agencies will default to the
“Housing Outcomes” assessment.

with then click on “Check Client In”

Once the “Check Client In” is selected the following unit list will appear. From here click on the Check In icon or “Empty” unit.

You will perform a Client Search and select the client from the Client Result area or add client information. Client ID number can also be used.

Once a client is selected you will be able to change the time of Check In, make additional notes and select the Entry Provider and Type.

Assign each Household member to a Unit by clicking on the “Assign Unit” button.
To add an entire household:
From the pop up screen select an Unit from the drop down list or select Overflow.

After Save and Exit is applied you will be exited to the ShelterPoint Dashboard. To verify client(s) were checked select “View All.”

When your client is no longer receiving service from a program you are ready to “Exit” the client.
Click on the pencil and fill out all appropriate responses.
Make sure you “edit” any information that has changed from Entry. Primarily Monthly Income and Non-cash Benefits (remember your End Dates)

When a client leaves your Housing Program you are ready to “Check-out” the client

Reports now appear in a dash board format instead of on a drop down or as links – click on the icon to access the report you wish to run• Daily Bed Report is now called Daily Unit Report• Clicking on the arrow in the menu will expand quick links for easy access 38
