(Inclusive) Using resources to involve all students in relevant activities rather than excluding

them for any reason either directly or indirectly.

(Accessible) Using materials, resources and handouts that are easily available to all, in a format

that caters for individual needs and demands, and in ways that suit modern learners and learning

styles.

(E&D) Using resources to allow students participate, regardless of their gender, race, ethnic origin,

religion, disability, sexual orientation and age; using a range of resources to meet the needs of different individuals and groups.

(Adaptable) Using a range of resources that can be easily

changed to meet individual student needs, learning styles and demand, e.g. font sizes, paper colour, hearing

loops etc

• Resources for Assessment for learning are formative, and involve both teachers and students in ongoing dialogue, descriptive feedback, and reflection throughout the tasks.

• Resources for Assessment of learning are summative, and involve determining the quality of the learning that has taken place at the end of a unit or theme etc.
