CHARATERISTICS OF GOD’S DISCIPLES

DOES NOT SEARCH TO PLEASE ANYONE BUT GOD: Our father is always with me, because I always aim to please him (John 8,29) “Do I search for the favor of men or of God?” do my efforts please only man? If I still tried to please men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ (Galatians 1, 10). LISTENS TO CHRIST: My sheep listen to my voice and follow (John 10,27ss). IS UPLIFTING: Do not speak harmful words only words that can build (Ephesians 4, 29). DOES NOT COMPLAIN: Acceptance of one an-other and forgiving each other if one has a complaint of another. In the same form the Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3,13). NO BUSCA AGRADAR A LOS DEMAS SINO A DIOS. El padre está siempre conmigo, porque yo hago siempre lo que le agrada (Juan 8,29) ¿Busco ahora el favor de los hombres o el de Dios? ¿O me esfuerzo por agradar a los hombres? Si yo todavía estuviera tratando de agradar a los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo. (Gálatas 1,10).

ESCUCHANA CRISTO. Mis ovejas escuchan mi voz y me siguen (Juan 10,27ss). ES EDIFICANTE. No salga de su boca palabra da-ñina sino solo lo que edifique (Efesios 4,29) NO SE QUEJA. soportándoos unos a otros, y perdo-nándoos unos a otros si alguno tuviere queja contra otro. De la manera que Cristo os perdonó, así tam-bién hacedlo vosotros. (Colosenses 3,13).

AMA COMO JESUS. Les doy un mandamiento nuevo: Ámense unos a otros; como yo los he amado, así también ámense los unos a los otros. El amor mu-tuo entre ustedes será el distintivo por el que todo el mundo los reconocerá como discípulos míos. (Juan 13,34)

PERDONA. Y perdónanos nuestras deudas, como también nosotros hemos perdonado a nuestros deu-dores. (Mateo 6,12)

SE FORMA Y PREPARA. Y perseveraban en la enseñanza de los apóstoles y en la comunión, en la fracción del pan y en las oraciones. (Hechos 2,42) ORA. SAN ALBERTO CHMIELOWSKI/ ALBERT CHMIELOWSKI 17 de junio

Nacido en Igolomia, cerca de Cracovia, como el mayor de cuatro hijos en una familia acomodada, fue bautizado como Adán. Durante la revuelta de 1864 contra el zar Alejandro III, las heridas de Adán obligaron a amputarle la pierna izquierda. Su gran talento para la pintura lo llevó a estudiar en Varsovia, Munich y París. Adán regresó a Cracovia y se convirtió en franciscano seglar. En 1888, cuando fundó los Hermanos de la Tercera Orden de San Francisco, Siervos de los Pobres, tomó el nombre de Alberto. June 17th Born in Igolomia near Kraków as the eldest of four children in a wealthy family, he was christened Adam. During the 1864 revolt against Czar Alexander III, Adam’s wounds forced the amputation of his left leg.

His great talent for painting led to stud-ies in Warsaw, Munich, and Paris. Ad-am returned to Kraków and became a Secular Franciscan. In 1888, when he founded the Brothers of the Third Or-der of Saint Francis, Servants to the Poor, he took the name Albert. They worked primarily with the homeless, depending completely on alms while serving the needy regardless of age, reli-gion, or politics. A community of Alber-tine sisters was established later.

Pope John Paul II beatified Albert in 1983, and canonized him six years later. His Liturgical Feast Day is June 17.

SE SIGUE RECOMENDANDO A TODOS CUIDAR EXHAUSTIVAMENTE TODAS ES-TAS MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD EN TODAS PARTES, DADO QUE EL RIESGO NO ACABA AÚN.

Guidelines on returning to mass: THE RISK OF CONTAGION IS STILL HIGH, RESRICTIONS ARE STILL IN PLACE. We must fol-low these directions for everyone’s safety and well being: -No more than 100 hundred will be allowed in-side the church for mass. -You must bring your own mask and hand sani-tizer -We must keep a six ft distance between our-selves and others that do not live with us. -No physical contact with others during mass, even to offer the sign of peace. -No food sales after mass. -The Blood of Christ will not be given during Communion. -We must receive the Body of Christ in our hands. -There will be no holy water at the church en-trances. -There will be no church gatherings or activities other than for mass; all church group meetings and chatechism are still postponed until further notice. WE ASK THAT EVERYONE DO THEIR PART AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUC-TIONS AT ALL TIMES, AS THE RISK OF GETTING SICK REMAINS.
