RETREATS: The Seton retreats for both boys and girls are on March 15. Students are to report to school at the usual time of 8:15, with dismissal at 3:00. Students are to be in activi- ties dress code or better (check the Handbook). No jeans, shorts, T- shirts, sleeveless shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies. Students will be attending Mass so should be appropriately and mod- estly dressed. Students should bring their own lunches. No food will be sold, and no one is allowed to leave campus to get food. The retreat will be directed by SENT Ministries, a group of young peo- ple from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Click here for more information about the ministry. Franciscan priests from Washington will also assist in the retreat, and there will be several priests to hear confessions. Many thanks to all those who have offered to host the Franciscan students. All of them now have a place to stay. God bless all who offered for their generosity. Please encourage your children to come to the retreat with a mind and heart open to hear what God has to say to them. Please pray for the success of the retreat. A GREAT WEEKEND FOR SETON: Congratulations to many Seton teams: Girls Swimming, first place in the State. Boys Swimming, fourth place in the state. Blue Crab Bowl Oceanography Team, fourth place in the state. Boys and girls basketball teams, first place in their year-end tournament. LENT WITH ST. JOSEPH, third installment: This weeks excerpt from Fr. Philippes book, The Mystery of Joseph, is from the section Joseph and the Divine Motherhood of Mary. After the Annunciation: Mary is alone; she receives this gift [of conceiving the Son of God] in the solitude of her heart. She agrees to become a mother without asking Jo- sephs advice. She knows that God has every claim to her and that Josephs deepest desire is that she belong entirely to her God. It is not a lack of delicacy on her part to act in this way towards Jo- seph; rather it is a sign of her confidence in him. God must always come first, and this is the will of Josephs heart as well—otherwise he would not be Marys spouse. What is so admirable is that Mary does not hesitate, and in this she reveals to us all that Josephs heart is for her; she can count on him even to this extent. She is able to keep Gods secret in silence, for she does not doubt Josephs faithfulness both to God and to herself.FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MRS. CONGRATULATIONS CONQUISTADORS!

Please click here to read all about the many accom-plishments of our Seton Swim and Dive Team. Our

State Champion Girls Swimming and Diving Team and our Boys Team placed fourth in the state of Virginia. Head Coach Jim Koehr and the army of devoted parent volunteer coaches had a great hand in these victories. A special thanks and congratulations to a new member of our Seton Family, our Diving Coach, Mrs Ashley Keeproth. Our Girls and Boys Basketball Teams also are to be congratu-lated. Both teams won their end of the year tournaments at John Paul the Great. Coach Dick Pennefather for the girls and Coach Dan Vanderwoude with the boys did great jobs this year. The young ladies and young men hoopsters also deserve a great deal of credit beating bigger schools with well honed executions of team basketball. Congratulations also to Seton’s Blue Crab Bowl Team of Victo-ria Baker, Liam Kellogg, John Konstanty, Justin Orr and Joey Dealey who finished fourth in the State of Virginia. This high placement in the academic knowledge challenge was managed by Tricia Kellogg and Hank Konstanty. At Seton this is an after school club, and the dedication of these students and parents is most impressive.
