You Will Be Asked To Electronically Sign Their Terms of ServiceOnce you agree to the terms of service, you will be taken to the KDP Front Page.

You will be asked to complete your registration by clicking on the box on the upper right hand corner that reads “Your account information is incomplete.

To publish a book, you will need to complete this. Update now”.

Re-enter Your Personal Details

• Re-enter your email address and newly created password.

• Next, you will be taken to a page where you will be required to give your name, mailing address and phone number.

• Filling out this page is required.

Reason: The Income You Will Get for Publishing to Amazon is Taxable

= • Any money you make from publishing on Amazon is taxable income. You have to pay taxes on them if you are a US citizen.

• Amazon asks for your legal tax name (name on your Social security card) or the name connected to your tax ID number (for corporation or partnership).

You Also Have To Declare Your Business Type

• Business type means if you’re an individual, partnership or corporation.

• Here you can also enter either your Social Security Number or your Tax ID Number.

Amazon Will Use This Information For Your KDP Account

• Amazon uses this information to keep track of how much money you make, and where to send royalties.

• Once you send these data boxes, and submit them to Amazon, your Kindle account is complete!
