Evaluation: Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? I have learnt a lot since the start of this task, I have learnt that the layout of a magazine is so important to its overall look and how authentic and realistic it turns out to be. I have also learnt that research is an important thing to value when embarking on projects such as these and that the more research done the easier making final outcomes will be, it also helps you to get a more appropriate feel of what your target audience wants to see from at the end of the product. If I were to do this again I wish that I would have planned more effectively, sketching and drawing out things before you take it onto the computer cuts the creative process by almost a half. Planning simple little details of where you want to do things and where things should go allows you to make your time a lot more efficient. I had done this while sketching out the plans of my final magazine outcomes but failed to plan properly when going through my research and giving out my questionnaire. If I could do this again I would apply this depth of planning to all aspects of my work. Others have said that they like my magazine and it looks well made. They have gone on to say that all three of the products look as though it could pass as a real magazine cover, which I am extremely pleased to hear, seeing as though the Photoshop process of my work had taken up the most time and energy to finish. Overall I am pleased with my work and pleased with the project I was able to produce, creating a magazine based on something close to me.
