LIBRARY NEWS Recent additions to our library collection are The Winter Guest, by Pam Jenoff, Norwegian by Night, by Derek B. Miller, The Garden of Letters, by Alyson Richman. Books are on the Shabbat cart at the rear of the sanctuary. Our DVD collection is growing and includes some great sports films, including “The First Basket”, “Jews and Baseball”, “The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg”, and “The Tragedy of the Munich Games.” Contact Paula to borrow a DVD ([email protected]/(516) 764-4213 x23).

Future joint class sessions of OJC/HERJC Havruta will be held on March 12 and May 7
Bible Class and Book Discussion Join us for an hour-long Bible class with Rabbi Mark Greenspan. This year we will continue to study the Book of Job – no previous knowledge required. Thursday Mornings, February 5th and 26th 11 AM-12 Noon in the MPR
Our next Book Study, on Thursday, February 12th at 11:00 AM will be The Broken and the Whole: Discovering Joy After Heartbreak by Rabbi Charles S. Sherman. A meaningful portrayal of how tragedy affected and transformed one family and especially one religious leader.
