A "hard times" costume theme j will prevail at the October 251 Halloween dance to he spon-j sored by Torrance Junior Wom an's riuh in the American Le gion Hall. Torrance. Music will he provided by Mel Coates and his Swinpsters.
Mrs. John K. Mallery. chair man, will be assisted hy Mmes. John Hall, Elgin Logsdon, and William Zappas.
Proceeds of the dance will go to the VMCA for the Junior's philanthropy project, the Junior Woman YMCA Teen Canteen. The canteen will serve hoys and girls in the local area.
