Founded in 1860, Sharpsville Container Corporation (SCC) was originally established as a boiler works manufacturer and operated under the name Sharpsville Steel Fabricators. The business’ early success was driven by expansion of the iron and steel industry after the Civil War.

Today, Sharpsville Container Corporation is focused on the fabrication of stainless steel products in a variety of industries. Purchased by The Reserve Group in 1997 and partnered with Spartanburg Stainless Products, SCC is a privately owned business that strives for growth through relationships and accomplishments. Sharpsville Container Corporation operates in a facility with 100,000 sq. ft. and is an ISO 9001 company. Sharpsville is a specialist in providing UN/DOT transport vessels. Our uniquely designed containers offer the ideal package for a variety of food, chemical, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. Ranging in size from small to large, our standard and custom designs are perfect for your transportation needs. Also available in a number of nickle alloys, these containers are both durable and reusable for your required UN and ASME requirements. SCC can also refurbish, pickle, and re-certify your existing fleet.

Sharpsville supplies American Sankey kegs, ball lock kegs, and a variety of general purpose tanks. These containers are popular for a wide range of applications from home brewing and eye wash stations to spray equipment and beverage dispensing. All of which are approved by the National Sanitary Foundation (NSF). SCC also provides repair and pickle passivation for your existing container fleet. Serving the major specialty gas producers worldwide, Sharpsville cylinders are offered in both industry standard and custom designed sizes using a variety of approved materials and prepared to accept various CGA valve connections. All of our cylinders are finished and protected with a durable, attractive powder coating finish, with the color of your choice. SCC’s non-refillable and refillable gas cylinders are widely used in medical, specialty gas, industrial safety, calibration applications, and more. All of our cylinder products are manufactured and tested in accordance with US Department of Transportation and Transport Canada requirements.
