Ring 1 – Show Hacks / Show Hunters Affiliated Rings (Judge: TBA)

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. ALL competitors in Ring 1 must either be a SHC-SA Inc. member or member of another SHC affiliate (e.g. HIA Comp Assoc) at the time of competition. Ring 1 competitors can be also be $10 day members upon paying their fee but only count for that day of competition.

2. Riders must wear approved hats (ASNZ 3838 / EN 1384) and boots at all times while riding. 3. The judge’s decision is final – there is to be no approach to the judge unless authorised by the convener or

steward. 4. Liability: Neither the organising committee, the SHC nor the owners/lessees of the venue accept any

liability for accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, persons or property whatsoever. Horse Riding is a dangerous sport and competitors ride at their own risk.

5. No stallions or colts permitted on the show grounds. 6. Protests must be lodged in writing, together with a $50.00 deposit, no later than half an hour after the

incident which gives rise to the dispute. The deposit will be refunded only if the protest is upheld 7. Entries can ONLY compete as either Show Hack or Show Hunter for the season 1/1/13 – 31/12/13 with

SHC-SA and HIA Comp. Assoc. Shows. Only then can competitors change sections if they wish. This is ruling from SHC of Aust. Inc.

8. Gates will be open from 6.30am 9. Winners of Champion or Reserve Champion in the Show Hack & Show Hunter Ridden section are

reminded that they now qualify for competition in the “SHC Classic Classes” at the 2014 SHC-SA Rising Star Show

10. HOT WEATHER POLICY: This Show will be running alongside the Coonalpyn Ag Show. To make the show run faster in the hotter months we have taken out the led classes and some classes may be judged on the circle. Please be sun smart & sensible when showing in the warmer weather.

11. NEWCOMER DEFINITION – Horse that is in its first season (12mths of competition under saddle) – can not have been shown prior to 19th October 2012. CHILDS MOUNT – For riders under 17yrs in the relevant sections. Childs Shetland – rider 14yrs & under.
