Your Alumni President Cathy Beumler Greetings Alumni and 4-H Friends: As summer is quickly coming to a close I hope everyone has had a chance to recharge their batteries. This summer my family and I enjoyed going on vacation to the north woods, baseball with our boys, and doing outdoor activities as a family. Time spent with family and friends are how new ideas are shared. 4-H youth and adults have many opportunities to share their ideas with each other at the many meetings and other gatherings that take place here in She- boygan County 4-H. The next season in most Sheboygan County 4-H family’s lives is the Sheboygan County Fair. We look to the 5 day event to showcase the 4-H youth achievements for the year. There are many opportunities to assist in 4-H activities so please contact the UW Extension 4-H Office to join us working at the Fair this year. After the Fair is also a very important time for our 4-H youth, to complete forms accurately and keeping records for future reference. As Alumni this is an opportunity to assist the youth in improving this skill. With assistance and en- couragement our 4-H youth will have the tools in good record keeping to more easily fill out the forms for the amazing awards and trip opportu- nities that they will have in the future. We are looking for new Alumni Board members. This is an opportunity to give back to the 4-H program. Please consider joining us. New members and new ideas are always welcome.
