Shelf elf in theclassroom forolder students

After seeing several of my elementaryteacher friends sharing about their

classroom elf, I decided I was going totry this in my own sixth grade math

classrorm.

This is day 3 of the classroom shelf elf.For this day, students are working on

estimating percents. This activity shouldbe printed, cut, and hung around theroom. I velcro the answers to each

poster so that students can check theirwork as they go. This step is optional.Students wonder the room looking forthe differenct posters. They find the

answers and record them on therecording sheet.
