The instant shelter is designed to provide safety and comfort to refugees. It is adaptable to any kind of situation (ware, natural catastrophes) and any environment (cold, snowy, hot).

It has the advantage of fast mounting, and is easy to transport.

In case of crisis we can distribute fast our shelters to the victims so they could have a instant habitat with the developed tensegrity model system.

    Introduction

The number of refugees is increasing each years due to conflict, persecution or even natural catastrophes. More than 43 million people in the world are forced to move from their hometown. The highest number since the mid-1996s. Several million people remain displaced with no where to live.

The tents or shelter these peoples are living in are nearly comfortable and hardly descent. They have minimum living condition and are almost always limited and loosely involve spaces to live sleep and socialize as well as areas for food preparation, hygiene and privacy. They need and deserve more than just the limits, not only for them to survive but also to have a sane life, physicaly and mentaly. The psychology has a great part in the refugies problems, they need to feel safe and secure, to have activities and occupation.

The shelters must be able to face different type of climat and environment. By taking all the qualities from each shelter built for a specific environment we can have a multi-functional shed, that could face any kind of catastrophes. After a tsunami or a cyclone strikes there is inondation, high humidity and the ground is unstable, the shelter are build with thick materials and raised above the ground. If the refugees are in a cold or snowy place their shelter are made to keep the heat inside and opposite if they are in the desert the with color of the shelter keep the inside cool and deflect the sun rays

The shelter is based on the tensegrity model, which allows it to open fast and being built easly.

Tensegrity is an archituctural way to stabilize a structure by using tension forces. The balencing of the structure is made because of the distribution of the foces on all the structure
