The 14th edition of Automechanika Shanghai recorded its busiest and most international fair yet. Visitors filtered through many of the new zones and exciting areas of the fair, where exhibitors presented their latest products and services across the entire supply chain. Tomorrow’s Service & Mobility

Located in the North Hall, the debut of Tomorrow’s Service & Mobility sector was one of the most stimulating areas at this year’s fair. It reflected many of the latest innovation and market trends, with exhibitors offering their most recent breakthroughs in car connectivity, autonomous driving, new energy vehicles, digitalisation, advanced composite materials, automotive lightweighting solutions and more.

Chain Stores

Another new addition to the show was the introduction of the Chain Store zone. The area highlighted the transforming landscape of the distribution channels throughout the automotive service industry. It was welcomed by a strong collection of chain stores, e-commerce businesses and automotive suppliers for new business models, including the likes of Alibaba, Autozi, Carzone, Casstime, Euro Repar, Homotor, Jingdong, Jufeng, Kzmall, LOPAL, Tuhu, to name a few.

The annual summit gathered leading companies from the automotive aftermarket sector to explore growth hotspots and potential across both domestic and international markets, while also forecasting future developments and collaboration opportunities for the sector.

AIAG Auto Parts Purchasing Leadership and Suppliers Summit

The summit invited purchasing executives from leading automakers, automotive manufacturers, OEMs and tier-one suppliers to share their sourcing strategies and requirements, as well as their quality management systems in Asia and China.

Tomorrow’s Service & Mobility Summit 2018

This event discussed the current and future developments in car connectivity, new energy vehicles, autonomous driving and more. Carmakers and pioneers of connected and driverless cars shared their views on tomorrow’s mobility and the associated challenges and opportunities.
