FISHING IN THE BLUE SEA OF SICILY

TREKKING OR CANYONING IN THE ALCANTARA GORGES

Alcantara gorges Canyoning in Alcantara river. The name derives from the river to

Qantarah which means "bridge" to witness the remains of many

crossings still visible along the river auction. The lava flows at different

times that have invaded the bed of the river Alcantara comes from

below the northern area. The basalt lavas are of a surface morphology

more or less degraded, compact, and whose levels are stacked to

form blocks of hard rock interspersed by scoriacei horizons. In addition

to high altitude of 600m above sea level, nestled on a huge sandstone

cliff of the Flysch di Capo d'Orlando appears Castiglione Di Sicilia. Walk

along the river on foot, without the aid of a rubber boat or canoe. The

progression then occurs in the direction of the water, with dives, jumps,

and slides. River Trekking is the rise in calmer waters of the river

Alcantara.
