    Fulvio Finds Celeste, four songs of whichreceived European and Australian radioplay. Two of those songs are also featuredin the upcoming independent film, “BloodBrother.”

    Wytold (William Wytold Lebing) beganprivate lessons in classical cello repertoireat age 10 and participated in school andregional youth orchestras throughoutNorthern Virginia, often as the principalchair. Wytold always dreamt of going tocollege to study cello performance but washeld back by a bad case of carpal-tunnelsyndrome. After a 1.5 year hiatus, Wytoldreintroduced himself to playing music bylearning folk songs on the acoustic guitarand gradually writing his own songs. Soonhe rewrote his songs on the acoustic cello,adapting guitar techniques to rhythmic cellobowing and finger-picking. Soon after,Wytold started live-looping and taughthimself to play the shoulder-strapped six-string electric cello. His educationalbackground in mathematics and physicshelps him visualize and manipulate thedifferent cello loops when composing andperforming.

    Wytold is actively performing andcomposing in the Washington, DC metroarea. As part of the Strathmore Artist inResidence program, Wytold is releasing anew holiday EP, Do You Hear What I Hear,available in November 2012, and a new original album, My Regards, available inFebruary 2013.     Integriti Reeves Concerts:March 13, 2013March 27, 2013 Jazz singer Integriti Reeves is a graduate ofD.C.’s Duke Ellington School of the Artsand The Peabody Institute of The JohnsHopkins University in Baltimore, where sheperfected her craft under the tutelage ofworld renowned Jay Clayton and in privatelessons with Connaitre Miller, HowardUniversity Jazz Professor from 2006-2010.Her relationship with Miller landed her aspot as a member of Afro Blue, appearingon NBC’S The Sing Off and in concert withlegend Smokey Robinson. She has alsoperformed alongside contemporary jazzgreats such as Herbie Hancock, StevieWonder, Geri Allen, Bobby McFerrin andErnie Andrews. In 2010 Integriti co-wrotelyrics and recorded with the renownedvibraphonist/pianist/drummer Warren Wolf.She strives to incorporate jazz and violinimprovisations during her performances.     Concerts:April 10, 2013April 24, 2013 Isabelle De Leon first picked up drum sticksat age 7, and has honed her skills ondrumset by performing with suchensembles as Maryland Classic YouthOrchestras and the Archdiocese ofWashington Honors Band. Now a senior atthe University of Maryland, she studies bothjazz drums performance and pre-medicine.De Leon is recipient of the Washington PostMusic and Dance Scholarship Award andthe DIVA Jazz Orchestra’s Stanley KayScholarship, which sent her to the NewYork Summer Festival. In 2012 she wasselected to be the drummer for the 2012Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Jazz Orchestra, anhonors college band comprised of studentsfrom schools along the East Coast.

    She still performs regularly with her familyband, Ivy Rose, which had the honor toopen for Weezer and Ben Folds at theUniversity of Maryland’s Byrd Stadium andalso placed second at the Next Big ThingTour Battle of the Bands at the 9:30 Club.They recently tagged a two-month tour inthe Philippines and appeared on the 2012season of NBC's America's Got Talent. Starting out with the Suzukimethod and classical training, she quicklylearned to play by ear what her classicalinstructors could not teach her. That sameyear, she took a trip to France with herparents, where she was first introduced tothe style of music known as “JazzManouche” or “Gypsy Jazz.” Intrigued as alistener from the start, over the years shehas found this music to be a perfect genrefor her playing style.     Owen Danoff Concerts:June 5, 2013June 19, 2013 An up-and-coming Washington, D.C.singer-songwriter, Owen Danoff was borninto a musical family—his father, BillDanoff, is a Grammy-winning songwriterand musician with his Starland Vocal Band—and has grown up surrounded byaccomplished musicians. Danoff releasedhis debut EP Never Trust A Man atStrathmore in 2012, incorporatinginfluences of pop, folk and country. Askilled singer, writer, bassist and composer,Owen has made the rounds at notable localmusic venues, having performed at theKennedy Center, Black Cat, The Birchmere,9:30 Club and The Hamilton. At age 16 hewrote his first song, and at 20 he decidedto dedicate his efforts toward crafting acareer as a full-time musician. He is a 2011graduate of the Berklee College of Music.

    Charlie Barnett Concert on November 28, 2012

    As a film composer, Charlie Barnett’sscores have appeared in more than 400television projects and theatrical films. Hehas written music for Saturday Night Live,The Cosby Show, Third Rock from the Sunand Weeds. His score for the PBS seriesThe Appalachians was released by Sonyrecords and his score for Dreamer, adocumentary about C.S. Lewis produced byWalt Disney Productions, was released aspart of The Lion, The Witch and theWardrobe boxed set.

    Mr. Barnett is also a musician whoseorchestral and chamber works have beenperformed worldwide. Personal favoritesinclude Serenade for Double Bass, whichwas recently performed in London and hasbeen performed by the National SymphonyOrchestra; the release of Concerto inFourths, The Brooklyn Affair and thesymphony The Blue Chevrolet on BigKahuna Records; the recent recording byOsman Kivrac of the viola concerto FromIstanbul; and his symphonic suite, TheTarot, which received its premier in 2010 bythe Capital City Symphony in Washington,D.C. Barnett was commissioned to write aspoken word piece in collaboration with Dr.Maya Angelou for the Pageant of Peace inWashington, D.C.

    He continues to proudly tour with theeclectic lounge band, Chaise Lounge.Barnett can also be heard as an occasionalcommentator on NPR.

    Nasar Abadey Concert on December 5, 2012

    Drummer and composer Nasar Abadey isthe founder, leader and driving force ofSUPERNOVA. Abadey began playingdrums at age 5 and received his first drumset at age 16. Inspired by Tony Williams,Max Roach, Roy Haynes, Elvin Jones andhis cousin Frankie Dunlop, Nasar Abadeycreates jazz music steeped in modal, freeform, fusion and avant-garde styles. He isProfessor of Jazz Percussion at ThePeabody Institute of The Johns HopkinsUniversity.

NasarAbadey and SUPERNOVA were selectedby the U.S. State Department and Jazz atLincoln Center as Cultural Ambassadors,embarking a one month tour to with theAmerican Music Abroad Rhythm Road toRwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia andMozambique.

    Abadey has been awarded grants by theNational Endowment for the Arts andHumanities, the D.C. Commission for theArts, Creative Arts Performance Services(CAPS), the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation,Prince George's Arts Council, and theCommunity Foundation for the NationalCapital Region respectively.

    Best known for the syncopated lyricism ofhis fiddle playing, Rickie Simpkins is alifelong musician, building a catalog ofrecordings and appearances that testifiesboth to his creative flexibility and to hisroots in the classic bluegrass of his nativeVirginia. He has appeared on numerousartists recordings such as Nils Loftgren,Ralph Stanley, Mary Chapin Carpenter,Charlie Waller, Tony Rice, Chris Hillman,Herb Pedersen, Eddie from Ohio, TheIsaacs and Mike Auldridge. He is currentlyperforming internationally with EmmylouHarris and Her Red Dirt Boys.

    Simpkins has won many awards includingthe Society for the Preservation ofBluegrass Music of America's Fiddle Playerof the Year, the International BluegrassMusic Association’s Instrumental Group ofthe Year and Bluegrass Now's Fan's ChoiceAward for Fiddle Player of the Year. In2008 Simpkins was inducted into theVirginia Folk Music Hall of Fame, whichincludes other notable native Virginianssuch as Patsy Cline, Mother MaybelleCarter and Roy Clark.
