    our

    challenge, my friends.

    Here

    is a

    field ripe

    for

    harvest. Mission

    aries

    are waiting to be

    sent

    back into

    those

    jungles.

    What will our answer be?

    Ken and

    Daphne Johnston have been

consec ra t ed to th e

    wor k

    o f t h e Lo rd

    They are

    experienced.

    Their hearts

    burn

    to

    Ken

    writes:

    We are

    waiting on

    want

    to return early

    in

    Can WORLD-WIDE

    carry

    the load?

    My

    is moved

    at this

    story.

    Two

    trained,

    on fire

    for

    God, longing

    to

    Some

    No such chal lenge

    We can purchase a light

    C E R T I F I C A T E ?

    A.

    If

    you invest

    your

    money you

    will

    receive a

    return

    of from

    six to

    seven per

    But if

    you

    a GIFT

    GIFT CERTIF ICATES?

    A.

    GIFT

    CERTinCATES

    are

    a

    plan whereby

    WORLD-WIDE MIS

    SIONS

    expansion program is put into

    operation.

    Many calls have

come far beyond our ability to answer. We feel that

    this

    is God s

    hour

    before nat ions

    close, and

    doors are

    shut

    forever to gospel

    work.

    WORLD-WIDE MISSIONS

    plans to

    enter

    many

    new

    projects

    immed

    iately.

    Q. What is

    the

    purpose of these GIFT CERTIFICATES?

    A. 1) GIFT CERTIFICATES

    will

be used to enter thirty new

    na

    tions

    immediately.

    A. 2)

    GIFT

    CERTIFICATES wil l

    finance

    a program of

    enlarging

    our work far

    beyond

    the presen t

    borders,

    by employing more

    na

    tional pastors and

    foreign missionaries

to carry out the great gospel

    task

    of evangelizing

    the

    world.

    A. 3) GIFT

    CERTIFICATE

    monies

    will

    be used to build

    perma

nent buildings, chapels, orphanges, Bible schools,

    dispensaries

    in 100

    n a t i o n s .

    Q. How

    may

    they be purchased?

    A.

    GIFT CERTIFICATES

    may be

    purchased

    for

    cash,

    or

    on a

    monthly

    installment plan. If you

    have

    the cash

    to

    invest

    in

    the

    work

    of God,

    that

    money can be

    put

    to

    work

    for God immediately. We

    now

need many thousands of dollars to build maternity hospitals,

dispensaries, chapels, Bible institutes, training centers and parish

    p a r s o n a g e s .

    They may be

    purchased

on the installment plan. For instance,

    a

    GIFT CERTIFICATE

    for 100

may b e purc ha sed at 10

    a month

    for

    ten

    months. A 500 certificate

    may

    be purchased in twenty

    months

    at 25

    a month. And so on.

    Your

    money

    will

    be put to work

    for

    God

    immediately,

    once

    i t

    is

    received.

    Q. How

    many

    shares may I purchase?

    A.

    Each

    share is

    worth

    10.

    You

    may purchase as

    many

    as

    you

    desire. 10 shares

    equal

    100; 50 shares, 500, and so on.)

    Engraving is

    an

    interesting process. The

    polished metal

    plate upon

which the work is done to produce the

    beautiful

    wedding invita

    tions, calling cards,

    stationery,

    etc. goes through several

    stages

    of

    me t i c u l ou s work .

    The

    wanted

    pat tern

    is

    first

    scratched

    on

    the

    surface.

    Then

    acid

is added. Finally the craftsman uses his

    sharp

    knife to widen the

    beautiful curves

    of

    th e patte rn

    and

    deepen the fine

    lines.

    Not a nice

process as far as the plate is concerned could it speak

    But

    when

the plate is filled with fine ink

    and

    pressed

    upon rich

    paper,

    what

    a be au t i f u l

    But it

    takes

    acid,

    scratching, and

    cutting

    to bring

    out the resulting

beauty of th e impr int .

    How

    l ike

    life

    God

has a pat te rn for each of His children.

    The

scratching the acid yes the cutting will surely come. Plans may

    be

    shattered

    our

    plans

    disappointments come, happenings which

    will

    all but

    God

    finish what

    He

    Our

    good

    but He

    has

    the

    plan. Don' t

    of His hands.

    Do you feel you have

    been

    cut

    to

    the

    very

    depths, and you could

    not,

    did

    not

    PREACHERS IN AFRICA.

A desperate need in a crisis country. The time is short, the need is urgent, Africa is

    2. BUILD

    NEW MISSION

    FIELD

    IN GHANA

Many have already hea rd that Max Randall and I have

    opened

up a new mission field in the country of Ghana

Africa Since returning to the United States I have been

trying intensively to enlist another missionary recruit for

this field As of now we have not yet been successful In

the meantime the Christians in Ghana have written request

ing me to come back there Up to now I have held to my

    original purpose to go to

    Southern

    Rhodesia

    However,

    if

no one else is secured for Ghana I plan to enter this field

if possibleat least until someone e lse comes there The

need in Ghana is urgent and immediate We must not delay

sending a missionary to Ghana But it depends upon many

things including the possibility of securing permission to go

there as weli as the possibility of securing someone to go

    Will

you be in prayer for this open door into a new mission

    f ield?
