What data is needed for 2D modelling:

DEM data source, grid size, contains what details buildings and/or road network inside?

Building Footprints is data complete enough? Data format (polygon or polyline) is OK?

Road network is the road network has some elevation details?

Land use map/Resistance Map needed for resistance distribution map in M21. Simple grouping

and finalising manning M.

Pre-processing in GIS for preparation of bathymetry:

DEM + building foot prints (+10m) + road network (-10cm)

-can be combined in ArcGIS (Raster reclassification, raster math functions) or in grid editor inM21.

Raster generation (polygon to raster function) extent beyond actual catchment extent

Later clip it to the actual extent to get the equal column and rows in raster so that it can be easily

used in Grid editor.

Geographical information should be consistent in all layers (either non-UTM or SVY21) including

MIKE11 network.
