Generally it’s best to avoid purchasing buying any kind of “Leather Cement” available at stores. These products are generally manufactured to glue leather together but they are slow to dry and extremely stiff. Ordinary “Rubber Cement” seems to work best as they dry quickly and is pretty flexible.

Never reuses the same leather needle from an old project instead always have extras on hand and use a new one for every blouse you sew
