Jaubah Pendahuluan Compare Means mengandung peluang-peluang pilihan mengenai Means, One-Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, Paired Samples T Test, dan peluang pilihan mengenai One-Way Anova. IBM SPSS Statistics mengandung penjelasan mengenai Means, One- Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, Paired Samples T Test, dan One-Way Anova. Penjelasan ini adalah sebagai berikut : Prosedur Means dipakai untuk menghitung rata-rata sub-kelompok dan statistik univariate terkait untuk variabel-variabel terikat di dalam kategori-kategori dari satu variabel independen atau lebih. Peluang ini sering dipakai untuk melakukan pengujian linieritas antara satu variabel terikat dan satu variabel bebas. Statistik yang dicakup di sini adalah sum, number of cases, mean, median, grouped median, standard error of the mean, minimum, maximum, range, variable value of the first category of the grouping variable, variable value of the last category of the grouping variable, standard deviation, variance, kurtosis, standard error of kurtosis, skewness, standard error of skewness, percentage of total sum, percentage of total N, percentage of sum in, percentage of N in, geometric mean, and harmonic mean. 1

PendahuluanCompare Means mengandung peluang-peluang pilihan mengenai Means, One-Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, Paired Samples T Test, dan peluang pilihan mengenai One-Way Anova. IBM SPSS Statistics mengandung penjelasan mengenai Means, One-Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, Paired Samples T Test, dan One-Way Anova. Penjelasan ini adalah sebagai berikut :Prosedur Means dipakai untuk menghitung rata-rata sub-kelompok dan statistik univariate terkait untuk variabel-variabel terikat di dalam kategori-kategori dari satu variabel independen atau lebih. Peluang ini sering dipakai untuk melakukan pengujian linieritas antara satu variabel terikat dan satu variabel bebas. Statistik yang dicakup di sini adalah sum, number of cases, mean, median, grouped median, standard error of the mean, minimum, maximum, range, variable value of the first category of the grouping variable, variable value of the last category of the grouping variable, standard deviation, variance, kurtosis, standard error of kurtosis, skewness, standard error of skewness, percentage of total sum, percentage of total N, percentage of sum in, percentage of N in, geometric mean, and harmonic mean. Prosedur One-Sample T Test dipakaiuntuk menguji suatu variabel tunggal berbeda dari suatu konstanta yang dispesifikasikan. Statistik yang dicakup untuk tiap pengujian variabel itu antara lain adalah mean, standard deviation, dan standard error of the mean. Perbedaan rata-rata antara tiap nilai data dan nilai pengujian yang dihipotesiskan mencerminkan bahwa t-test yang dipakai untuk pengujian perbedaan adalah nol dan suatu confidence interval untuk perbedaan ini ditentukan.Prosedur Independent-Samples T Test dipakai untuk membandingkan rata-rata untuk dua kelompok kasus. Statistik untuk tiap variabel mencakup antara lain ukuran sampel, mean, standard deviation, dan standard error of the mean. Prosedur Paired-Samples T Test procedure dipakai untuk membandingkan rata-rata dari dua variabel untuk suatu kelompok tunggal. Prosedur ini dipakai untuk membandingkan perbedaan-perbedaan antara nilai-nilai dari dua variabel untuk tiak kasus dan pengujian apakah rata-rata itu berbeda dari 0 atau tidak. Statistik yang dicakup untuk tiap pasangan variabel itu adalah korelasi, perbedaan rata-rata dalam rata-rata, dan confidence interval untuk perbedaan rata-rata tadi. Statistik juga mencakup Standard deviation dan kesalahan standar dari perbedaan rata-rata.Prosedur One-Way ANOVA dipakai untuk menghasilkan suatu one-way analysis of variance untuk suatu variabel terikat berjenis kuantitatif dengan suatu faktor tunggal atau variabel bebas. Analisis varians dipakai untuk menguji hipotesis bahwa beberapa rata-rata adalah sama. Teknik ini merupakan perluasan dari two-sample t test. Pengujian homogenitas varians dilakukan dengan prosedur ini. Statistik untuk tiap kelompok mencakp number of cases, mean, standard deviation, standard error of the mean, minimum, maximum, dan 95% confidence interval for the mean. Levene's test untuk homogenitas varians, analysis-of-variance table dan robust tests of the equality of means untuk tiap variabel terikat, suatu priori contrast yang didefinisikan oleh pemakai, dan post hoc range test dan perbandingan-perbandingan jamak mencakup Bonferroni, Sidak, Tukey's honestly significant difference, Hochberg's GT2, Gabriel, Dunnett, Ryan-Einot-Gabriel-Welsch F test (R-E-G-W F), Ryan-Einot-Gabriel-Welsch range test (R-E-G-W Q), Tamhane's T2, Dunnett's T3, Games-Howell, Dunnett's C, Duncan's multiple range test, Student-Newman-Keuls (S-N-K), Tukey's b, Waller-Duncan, Scheff, dan least-significant difference.DataData yang dipakai di sini terdiri dari arsip data Baru1.sav dan arsip data Uji-T. Kedua arsip data disajikan di bawah ini. Arsip data ini terdiri dari 12 variabel yaitu variabel mengenai Biaya Iklan, Biaya Publisitas, Biaya Wiraniaga, Biaya Promosi Penjualan, Hasil Penjualan, Jenis Kelamin, Tingkat Pendidikan, Gaji Karyawan, Status Pernikahan, Bidang, Usia, Tinggi, dan varabe Berat. Variabel yang dipakai adalah variabel X1 sampai dengan variabel X12. Pemakaian variabel X1 sampai dengan X12 ini dimaksud agar sintaksis yang dicipta dapat dipakai juga untuk mengolah arsip data lain jika arsip data tersebut mempunyai nama variabel X1 sampai dengan X12 atau arsip data itu haya mempunyai variabel X1, X2, dan X3 saja.X1X2X3X4YX5X6X7X8X9X10X11X12

Rangkuman

Compare Means mengandung peluang-peluang pilihan mengenai Means, One-Sample T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, Paired Samples T Test, dan peluang pilihan mengenai One-Way Anova. Sintaksis dari tiap peluang pilihan dapat disusun dan keseluruhan sintaksis dapat digabung sehingga pelaksanaan sintaksis itu adalah lebih cepat dan lebih efisien. Hasil pelaksanaan sintaksis disajikan dan diawali dengan sintaksis bersangkutan. Contoh sintaksis dapat dipakai sebagai bahan studi dan penghayatan. Studi mengenai suatu makalah mungkin hanya mengandung sintaksis saja. Hal ini terutama tercermin dalam makalah-makalah yang mengandung sintaksis sebagaimana akan disajikan dalam tulisan lain.
