The former Head Boy Anshul Maheshwari and Head Girl Pratishtha Ahuja delivered a speech congratulating the newly elected members of the student‟s council and passed the reigns to the newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl. The Principal Mr. Pravin Kumar congratulated the student‟s council and motivated them to perform their duties with utmost devotion, dedication and sincerity. The event culminated with the school song followed by the National Anthem. Investiture Ceremony was held at Sir Padampat Singhania School, Kota on 19th July 2019. The event began with Lamp Lighting Ceremony by Respected Principal Mr. Pravin Kumar, Vice Principal Ms. Anjali Chaudhary and the Co-ordinators, to seek the blessings of god almighty. The ceremony commenced with the school prayer followed by Thought of the Day and News. The Investiture Ceremony commenced with the felicitation. The Principal Mr. Pravin Kumar and Vice Principal Ms. Anjali Chaudhary conferred the badges and sashes to the young leaders. The House Captains and Vice Captains (Senior & Junior) of Gagan, Pawan, Sagar and Surya House were also decorated with badges and sashes by the House Masters of the respective houses. The Discipline Minister, Literary Minister, Sports Minister and Cultural Minister along with the Prefectorial Team were felicitated by the Coordinators and HOD‟s. The newly elected student‟s council took an oath to shoulder their responsibilities with dedication and sincerity. known as delegates, were

from standard 10th, 11

th, and

12th. The event consisted of the

delegates presenting a speech,

each, bidding for the before-

hand provided list of resources

and debating.

Mock Diplomacy 2019 was

hosted in the school on 15th

July 2019 from 08:00 am to

01:30 pm by ex-students

with the inaugural speech by

the organizers followed by the

Vice Principal. Mock Diplomacy

was an abstract form an

understanding of the working

code for the day, with the

necessary stationary items,

Health Matters

Seminar on First Aid A seminar on safety and first

aid was held on 6th July 2019

in the school premises. It was

conducted by Dr Neeta Jindal

MBBS, MD who is working for

social cause with „Karni Vikas

Samiti‟ for 10 years. Safety tips

were demonstrated and given

One of the basic requirements

for good health is to live in a

c l e a n a n d h e a l t h y

environment. To build this

quality a health awareness

programme was organized on

5th July 2019 at Sir Padampat

Singhania School, Kota. The

students of Pre-Primary Wing

were sensitized about physical

cleanliness and how to keep

their body healthy through

exercise. The vitality of sports

and yoga were inculcated

through Power Point

Presentations. Daily cleanliness

routines were discussed with

the help of demonstration of a

doll bath. Children were asked

not to have excessive intake of

junk food. The toddlers were

taught how to maintain

hygiene.

Moreover, students had an

exciting and fruitful session of

health and hygiene which

made them realize importance

of healthy life habits.

school cabinet for the

academic year 2019-20. The

students from Classes IV to X

A special assembly was

conducted at Sir Padampat

Singhania School, Kota on 22nd

July, 2019 to generate

awareness regarding Measles

Rubella vaccination campaign.

The special guests on the

occasion were Dr. Rajesh

Gupta, Senior Medical Officer

and a member of WHO and

Dr. Avinash Bansal, a Senior

Paediatrician. The eminent

guests informed the students

that Measles and Rubella are

infections and life-threatening

diseases caused by virus and

the MR Vaccine provides

protection from both diseases.

All children from 9 months to

15 years must be vaccinated

with the vaccine during the

campaign for the elimination

of these fatal diseases.

The students presented a song

and a short skit to spread the

message s igni fy ing the

campaign.

Sir Padampat Singhania School,

Kota displayed complete

proactiveness in making the

children aware so that 100%

participation takes place.

Cadets recited a poem instilled

with a feeling of patriotism.

An instrumental performance,

song, dance and a skit was also

presented depicting the

i n e s c a p a b l e c o u r a g e ,

indomitable sp ir it and

irrepressible valour of the

Indian Armed Forces.

The Principal Mr. Pravin

Kumar appreciated the efforts

of the students and motivated

them to consider politics as a

profession for the glorious

future of the Nation.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Kargil Vijay Diwas was

celebrated at Sir Padampat

Singhania School, Kota on

26th July 2019 with great zeal

and enthusiasm to honour the

martyrs of Kargil and to

commemorate the victory of

Indian Armed Forces. The

function was presided over by

Hon‟ble Principal Mr. Pravin

Kumar and Vice Principal

Ms. Anjali Chaudhary.

Keeping this in mind a

workshop on health and

pe r sona l hyg iene was

conducted for the girls of Class

VI and VII. The mothers also

joined this workshop. The

workshop was conducted by

Procter and Gamble. The

resource person Ms. Reshu

Jain briefed the students about

personal hygiene and its

importance.

Workshop of Health and Personal Hygiene Health and Hygiene are very

important in a person‟s life. It

stands for basic cleanliness and

good habits in some one‟s

daily life.

of SPSS. The little masters were

exhilarated when they got to

dip their fingers in colour and

smear it on paper to create art

works. Since craft activity uses

both the hands, it is a beautiful

and interesting way to devel-

op fine motor skills, concentra-

tion, confidence and most

importantly decision taking

capability. Under the guidance

of teachers, students made

yummy watermelons, honey-

bee, rainy season delight

corns. The budding craftsmen

also created unique and exclu-

sive animals, birds, flowers etc.

jungle scene and beautiful pen

stands with the help of waste

material.

The activities got a little messy,

but no worries, arts and craft

are brilliant for developing

little minds and bodies. So,

Kids these days are growing

with technology. There are

very few real life experiences

to enrich them. Experts say

technology can never surpass

the benefits of hands on expe-

riences. Keeping in mind the

intention of making our little

ones do something creative

and give wings to their creativ-

ity and imagination, a "Craft

Activity" was designed for the

students of classes Nursery to II

Seven JW Cadets of 7 Raj Girls BN NCC participated in International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019. The event was organised in Bal

Vidyalaya Kota. Cadets learnt to perform various yoga to help find peace and build up stamina.

Air Cmde TK SINHA Dy DG NCC Rajasthan visited Kota on 8th July 2019. An interaction session between Air Cmde TK SINHA and

Cadets, CTOs and ANO of various institutions was organised by NCC GP HQ.

26th July is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas. This year being 20th year , Lieutenant Colonel Arvind Singh, OC of 14 Raj BN NCC visited

the school and interacted with JD and JW Cadets of the both Batallions.

Under 14 RAJ BN NCC and 7 RAJ GIRLS BN NCC , "MEGA POLLUTION AWARENESS PAKHWADA: NATIONAL LEVEL" was also or-

ganized.

Declamation contest was held under 14 RAJ BN NCC at CATC CUM PRE TSC CAMP, where Cadet Nitin Dhaker bagged first prize and

Cadet Keshav Meena bagged second prize. They were awarded by Camp Commandant Lt Col Arvind Singh a cash prize of Rs.800/- &

Rs.400/- respectively.

In cultural competition at CATC II, Cadet Sukhman Singh, Cadet Keshav Meena, Cadet Dhruv Singh, and Cadet Tanishq were awarded

a trophy for best group performance in drama. Cadet Nitin Dhaker of 14 RAJ BN NCC has been selected for the next TSC camp. Cadet

Sukhman Singh has been kept in reserve.

Four JW cadets of 7 Raj Girls BN NCC are selected for IGC for TSC 2019 DTE TSC (Boys & Girls) Team Selection Cum TRG Camp at

Udaipur to be held from 14th August to 23rd August 2019.
