Course Structure Within the prescriptive tasks, AIPT have supplied students with practical instruction documents

that will outline the following:

Tasks required to be conducted

Timeframe of how long the tasks are required to be completed

Environment the task is required to be conducted

The mentor is to be aware that certain practical tasks must be conducted in a one on one

environment, due to the nature of the task. When the student is conducting certain practical tasks

can be conducted with your clients.

Throughout the practical placement the student will supply course resources and materials that

will have course codes and cluster names which are tied to practical specific tasks. To make you

‘the mentor’ feel more comfortable with the coding please see below:

Student Journey

Student enrols into AIPT Mentor and assigned their mentor.

Student Logs nto their Learning Platform, and commences their Working with Children Check and First Aid Course

The student must successfully complete FA05 online theory assessment, prior to engaging the mentors. This will give the student the foundation knowledge to be able to utilise the Mentors time prior to attending the

first session

Student will make contact with Mentor to work out a time to complete the Practical tasks which suits both parties.

Student is responsible for supllying all required course materials to each practical session. These include: practical instruction document, practical resources and workbook (accessed from MyeCampus)

Once student completes all practical tasks and hours with mentor they will submit workbook with all required supplementary evidence to their My eCampus profile.

Student submits workbook and supplementary evidence in one PDF file on their MyeCampus portal.

If evidence is missing from th eworkbook, student will engage the AIPT mentor to complete missing evidence and submission to their MyeCampus platform

Student resubmits workbook or evidence if required, once all elements of theory and practical tasks/assessments completed. Students will be booked for a final Competency Call.

External assessor confirms workbook and supplementary evidence meets requirements and marks accordingly. Further submissions maybe required

Once the Student has completed all the theory and practical assessments within the Certificate III in fitness course a competency call will be organised with the student as a final assessment. This is conducted with an

AIPT external assessor.

Student will undertake the final Competency Call, and once deemed completed, they will commence the Graduation process.

Graduation checks are completed by AIPT and students will be issued with Qualifications/Statements of Attainment, for all units they are deemed component within and all student fees are paid.

Mentor Journey

Mentor recieves email notification allocating a student for mentoring including the mentor pack and confirms their availability.

The Mentor will be contacted by student to initiate the practical hours which will cover practical component of the Course. Mentor must confirm the student has completed all FA05 theory assessments.

During the sessions the Mentor will observe the student conducting prescribed practical tasks and completes required sections within the workbook, adding clear comments and ensuring all sections are signed and

sufficiently marked off.

When the Mentor is satisfied the student has met the practical prescriptive benchmarks to industry standards, they will record this in the Students' workbook for marking,

The Mentor and student will complete in remaining practical hours as shadowing hours and record all hours within the logbook.

Once the student is deemed competent with the All prescribed practical assessments, studnet will submit the workbook on their MyeCampus and confirmed by an AIPT’s Qualified Trainer and Assessor.

Mentor confirms student has completed all practical tasks and hours completed and checks all areas are sufficiently signed and completed.

It is essential to always check the workbook, to ensure you have completed all sections, comments and tick boxes are checks and clear signature, as all incomplete workbook will not be accepted. This will cause delays

for the student to progress and payment of invoices.

Mentor maybe contacted by student if external assessor deems submission NYS

Mentor submits via email the “Mentor Declaration” form to confirm completion. This is tied to milestone payments - (under review)

Mentor sends invoice

Student will undertake the final Competency Call, and once deemed completed, they will commence the Graduation process.

Graduation checks are completed by AIPT and students will be issued with Qualifications/Statements of Attainment, for all units they are deemed component within and all student fees are paid.
