Job Responsibility:

To supervise and perform all kinds of drilling operations (drilling, round trips, Ton-Miles, pipe tally, casing, cementing, well control, stuck up, fishing, equipment maintenance) safely .

To assist Drilling in Charge in bit selection. To optimize drilling with correct hydraulics, bit selection and mud parameters. To assist Drilling in Charge in B.O.P., Christmas tree, well head and other well control

equipment selection and installation. To participate in well planning. To organize and participate in meeting before major operations (Spudding, Casing, D.S.T.,

B.O.P. testing etc.). To maintain coordination between the drilling crew and other departments. Assist mud chemist in maintaining mud properties as per well bore conditions. To train new recruit about safe well operations on the rig. To manage record of rig equipments and their procurement and maintenance. To guide the drilling crew about safe operations and standard procedures and practices of

maintenance. To assist in preparation of well reports.
