Position a piece of paper orcardstock onto a cutting mat andload it into your Silhouetteelectronic cutting tool.

Open or create a sketch design inthe Silhouette Studio® software.

Select a Silhouette sketch pen,remove the cap, and place thepen into the blade holder of yourSilhouette electronic cutting tool.

In the Silhouette cut settingsmaterials list, select “SilhouetteSketch Pen” and change theblade type to “Sketch Pen” thenpress “Cut”.

After you’re done sketching, unloadthe mat from the Silhouette andremove your material.

To create a sketch using a single sketch pen:

Open or create a sketch design inthe Silhouette Studio® software.Decide what color you want eachline to be.

Position a piece of paper or cardstock onto a cutting mat and load it into your Silhouette electronic cutting tool.

Select all the lines and set them to“No Cut” in the cut style menu.

Select all the lines you want to sketch with a particular pen colorand set them to “Cut” in the cutstyle menu.

Load the desired Silhouette sketchpen into the blade holder of yourSilhouette electronic cutting tool.

In the Silhouette cut settingsmaterials list, select “SilhouetteSketch Pen” and change theblade type to “Sketch Pen” thenpress “Cut”.

Repeat steps 3-6 for eachindividual pen color until yoursketch is done. (Do not unload the mat or reposition theon-screen image until the entiresketch is complete.)

In the Silhouette cut settings materials list, select the materialtype that you want to cut and adjust the blade as indicated.

Load the blade into the bladeholder of your Silhouette electroniccutting tool. Click “Cut” in theSilhouette Studio® cut settingsmenu.

After your project is complete,unload the mat from the Silhouetteand remove your material.
