LAURIN & KLEMENT: A TIMELESS STORY

Laurin & Klement are not just legendary pioneers of the automotive industry. These namesare also synonymous with the famous automobile brand, manufactured in Mladá Boleslavsince 1905.

Laurin & Klement had always been keeping up with technological developments and offeredthe highest structural quality, exceptional design, selected materials and sophisticated details.Their cars were tailored to the individual wishes of the customers and in their time, virtuallyamounted to works of art, aside from being the essence of luxury.

Following the merger of Laurin & Klement with the Škoda enterprise from Pilsen (in 1925),the face of the cars from Mladá Boleslav started to carry the Škoda logo. At first, it shareda place with the L&K mark, later assuming the position on its own.

Škoda thus carries on the tradition of manufacturing cars in Mladá Boleslav while adoptingthe business strategy of the original company, Laurin & Klement: to produce modern,comfortable cars with extensive equipment, to emphasise eye-catching details, employa personal approach to customers, to provide for individual desires and offer its cars atattractive prices.

We share the visions of our predecessors and the enthusiasm, which they employed insmoothing the path of the automotive industry. Just as our predecessors, we look for newapproaches and exceptional solutions that will satisfy even the most demanding customers.Thus it was natural that when it came to the exclusive range of Škoda models with the highestlevels of equipment, intended for those who demand luxury and comfort, we settled for thename Škoda Laurin & Klement.
