Today the school accommodates 700 pupils and our new International Department will include all current main-school activities. International pupils will follow the International Cambridge Curriculum in many subjects, and in others the Danish curriculum will be combined with other curricula. All classes will be held in English except for Second Language Classes. The Programme

The International Department will be based on the highly respected International Cambridge Curriculum, which is already used in more than 160 countries around the world, giving expat families the possibility to move from country to country whilst following the same school system, ensuring their children have continuity with their education.

University of Cambridge International Examinations are the world’s largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5–19 year olds. The qualifications are recognised by universities, education providers and employers across the world. Cambridge International is part of the Cambridge Assessment Group, a non-profit making organisation and a Department of the University of Cambridge.

Skt. Josef’s School will incorporate Primary, Secondary 1 and the IGCSE curriculum and examinations when the school is fully established. Starting in August 2012, the school will offer Cambridge Primary for children within the first age group, 5-11 years old.

At Skt. Josef´s School your child will become part of a long history dating back to 1904, when French Nuns established the school and a hospital next to the school. The Nuns, who were Catholics, wanted to establish a school for both Catholics and pupils from other religious and cultural backgrounds. Today pupils from the school include different nationalities and the new International Department will help to further increase this international profile. The environment around Skt.
