SlideShare is a Web 2.0 site hosting slides that gives users the ability to upload and share publicly or privately slide in PowerPoint (.ppt, .pps, .pptx, .ppsx, .pot y.potx) , OpenOffice (odp); presentations and PDF (.pdf) computer graphics; Adobe PDF documents (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx y.rtf) and OpenOffice (odt) and most text documents (.txt), and even some audio and video formats.

How to use this tool for teaching?

This tool can be use for teaching, sharing presentations where the topic is explained with creativity, good ideas, full color, design and graphics.

Importance of its using:

This tool is important because it involves web 2.0 contents, thats why this tools have the currently advances and advantages of the technology to acquire knowledge and sharing it too.In the following slides I will share an information that can be shared, taught and learnt as an example of a slideshare presentation:
