SWL ROAD & TRAFFIC SWL FLOAT SWL SUPERSOAK

There are different types of SWL which allow super fast, complete, easy and cost-effective removal of any type of spill on any surface.

- SWL ROAD AND TRAFFIC for non-shore oil spills, soils, sand and marshlands and high potential for preventive protection of the shorelines. This product will completely encapsulate the oil and has a BTU-Value of 29.205 kj per 1000 g of oil-contaminated SWL R&T, which (in Germany) qualifies SWL as a fuel substitute product (tested by accredited laboratory in Germany).

- SWL FLOAT, floating pellets for the fast, complete and easy removal of the oil on water and complete removal of off-shore oil spills. The oil will immediately attach and can be removed from water by using fine meshed nets, screens or vacs or other. SWL FLOAT and oil can be reclaimed for use through centrifugal separation.

- SWL SUPERSOAK will easily clean animals (furs and feathers) and human skin by removing the oil without any irritation while greatly reducing the amount of contaminated water.

Technical name: (Expanded) Amorphous Alumina Silicate. All brands consist of this raw material.

- It’s a natural occurring mineral, inorganic, chemically inert (only attacked by hydrofluoric acid as it reacts with all silicates - potentially lethal gas.) inflammable, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, ph-neutral, no residues when used properly, no skin irritation, harmless to health, humans, animals and plants. To the best of our knowledge and according to numerous tests and analyses no negative effects are known.

- SWL is thoroughly tested.

- In the US: Passed US-TCLP-Test, meets definition of sorbent according to National Contingency Plan (NCP), Title 40 of Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), section 300.5 and 300.915(g) and is recommended by EPA for usage in National Emergencies.

In Germany: Tested and approved by Government Testing Agency MPA NRW as oil-and chemical absorbent. Tests in regards to its occupational safety and security were done by Hygiene Institute NRW (no negative health effects). Recommended by German Ministry of Environment and listed in LTWS 15 (list of recommended oil absorbents meeting Germany’s stringent environmental LTWS standard testing procedures for oil-and-chemical absorbent).
