Next Step (Valley Membership Classes) Led by Pastor Jamie Taylor (326.4437). Classes that cover who we are, what we believe, what our mission is, and how you can get plugged in! 10:00am @ VCC. Reaching Through Reading Led by Chelsea Garner (678.2926). An outreach group focusing on advancing the Kingdom of God through relationships built by sharing the gospel and giving the gift of literacy to the community. Activities include organizing outreaches to hand out books and invite people to Valley Church, collecting books for the outreaches, and prayer time! 4pm @ VCC. The Current (Youth Ministries) Led by Justin Temple (578.5144). A group for middle schoolers and high schoolers focused around studying the Word of God, connecting with one another, participating in outreaches, and having fun! 6pm @ VCC. The Daniel Plan- 40 Days to a Healthier Life Led by Angie Merritt (535.4397). A study by Pastor Rick Warren, Daniel Amen, M.D., and Mark Hyman, M.D., centered on five Bible-based essentials: faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends. Each session includes a video, exercise tips, food demos, and a Bible study with discussion. (Materials- $8.) 6pm @ VCC.

MONDAY Celebrate Recovery Led by Deborah Marshall (532.2280). The purpose is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through 8 recovery principles found in the Beatitudes. 6pm @ VCC. TUESDAY Jesus Calling Book Club Led by Rachel Lander (673.3215). A ladies’ book discussion group featuring Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. Questions will be provided each week related to a chosen devotion from the book. (Copies of the book are available in Valley Café.) 10am @ VCC. MOA (Men of Action) Basic Led by Pastor Jamie Taylor (326.4437). A study written by Pastor David Schmaltz to encourage Christian men to be involved in serving and leading. 6pm @ VCC. ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) Outreach Led by Jennifer Hardy (529.3616). An outreach-focused group open to all ages who have a heart for the needy and for sharing the love of Christ in practical ways. 6:30pm @ VCC. MOA Advanced Led by Pastor Jamie Taylor (326.4437). Study written by Pastor David Schmaltz to encourage men to be involved in serving and leading. MOA Basic completion required. 7:30pm @ VCC.

WEDNESDAY Men’s Bible Study Led by Lee Harrell (532.7537). An “early bird” men’s group! Come enjoy Biblical study and discussion with brothers in Christ over coffee, followed by breakfast at various local restaurants! 6am @ VCC. Coffee Connect: Cultivating Friendships Led by Michelle Adams (578.4548) and Kelly Smith (679.5014). This small group was born from a heart that longs to see other women in healthy, loving, godly relationships – to encourage, uplift and share life with each other. We will be going through the book Becoming Heart Sisters by Natalie Chambers Snapp. Let us learn from His Word how to become the friend God created us to be! Materials- $15-$20. 7pm @ VCC. SATURDAY Foraging 101: A Family Group Led by Angie Merritt (536.9659). A family group focusing on learning about the plants that God put here on earth for our health and pleasure! Includes study, foraging, hiking, cooking, and wildcrafting (using what we find). A wonderful opportunity for quality time with your family. Runners Unite Led by Andrea Schmaltz (532.7212). Calling runners of all paces! Join us for some great fellowship and fun as we run different routes in Roanoke Rapids. 8am @ varied locations.

GROUPS WITH DAYS/TIMES TBA/VARIED 20/30s Led by Brian & Kristi Sommer (676.1248). A group for 20/30somethings (singles & couples) who love the Word, prayer, and connection with friends. Will have scheduled theme nights (ex. Taco Night, Movie Night). Time varies. Prayer Teams Led by Caroline Long (678.2315). If you have a gift or desire for intercessory prayer, contact Caroline to get plugged into a group of fellow believers that covers Valley and its mission. A Bible study for girls and their moms ages 8-13, based on Dannah Gresh’s book Great Dates for Moms and Daughters. Materials - $14. Limited space.
