The torque is adjustable by the distributor.

The standard 40 Nm electric drive is via Bluetooth and a code bought by the distributor upgradable to 60 Nm, 80 Nm or 100 Nm.

The upgrade is currently done using a Windows program which for example runs on a laptop or tablet. An android app is under development.

The specified speed is independent of the load and controlled by an internal PI controller. Therefore the same with and without load.

The SmartAct contains no oil, because the gears are made of self-lubricating plastic.

The more the actuator is used, the smoother it will run and the less noise it makes.

Because there is no oil in the drive, you can also apply it upside down.

Input signals for setpoint position: 0-10v DC, 0-20mA or 4-20mAOutput signals for Position feedback: 0-10v DC, 0-20mA or 4-20mA

The 10-bit contactless position sensor of the actuator adjusts itself using the internal PI controller to the desired position with an accuracy of ¼ °.

Unnecessary frequent movement instigated by a constantly fluctuating input signal is dampened by averaging formulae within the EPS programme to prevent the motors running continuously.

This function is also compatible with the Failsafe feature.
