The DTAG100 comes complete with hotspot highlighting using four high-brightness LEDs that surround the NFC antenna.Detailed user and developer documentation plus a complete suite of demonstration applications and associated telephone and email technical support is provided free-of-charge with every unit.The DTAG100 can also be used to log usage information on all interactions with mobile phones, which can drive media content changes if required, as well as enable later behavioural analysis.

The DTAG100 is designed to integrate with all media server hardware and software solutions. No knowledge of NFC or Bluetooth protocols or standards is required. It is a unique solution using proven technology to guarantee full compatibility with the iBeacon, Eddystone, NFC Forum and Bluetooth 4.0 standards.To the phone, the DTAG100 appears as a standard NFC tag, programmed with the chosen tag data, and as a standard BLE beacon, according to Apple, Google and other emerging standards. To the host system, the DTAG100 appears as a driver-free USB device that can have its content updated at any time and as often as needed, and with multiple options for emulating other devices such as barcode scanners for transferring write-back data.
