Policy Board Nominations

We Need Your Help The Nominating Committee is actively soliciting

nominations for new Policy Board members

It’s a 3 year term-We have 4 vacancies for members along with selecting the incoming President (President-Elect)

These individuals become part of a team that actively participates in the society goal of continuing education of MR technologists now and for the future

Think about your fellow SMRT members and help us choose the next generation of MR technologist to lead the SMRT

Here’s what we need

SMRT members in good standing and voting member status

There is much work to be done, and that needs to be taken in consideration for those who seek nomination

Teamwork and good communication skills are good tools to have

Examples of qualifications Actively promotes the SMRT

locally (i.e. Active Local SMRT Chapter, hosted Regional seminars, introduced the SMRT to a region previously unaware)

SMRT speaker at Annual Meetings and Regionals

Active on the Program/Education committee consistently or many times in the past

Consistently submits abstracts, reviews abstracts or participates in abstract mentorship program

Contributes to Signals News (i.e. writing articles, photography, reporting on Regionals)

Contributes to and/or authoring Electronic Home Studies and contributes to the review and development of Home Studies

Volunteers when help is needed (i.e. ad-hoc committees; volunteers to work in the Affiliated Sections, SMRT booth at RSNA; recruiting SMRT membership, list others
