• This is a full time course
• 50% Theory and 50 % Practice
• Holidays and reading weeks are pre-set for the course
• School holiday dates will not correspond with the university calendar.
• There will be some time off during the winter/New Year period, Easter and generally 3 weeks during the summer
• There are some child care facilities available but places are limited
General course information
• Some applicants for pre-reg nursing programmes will have prior learning and experience
• This may include applicants who are already on the Nursing Midwifery Council professional register who are seeking a second registration in a different field of practice
• Some applicants have a nursing qualification from another country but are not registered in the United Kingdom
• Each application is considered on an individual basis
