Social media camera project plan
Objective
• To have an increase in the number of followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as to create a fun student involved social media activity.
Phase 1: Build up awareness
• Publish posts on all social media platforms about this upcoming activity.
• Have flyers or even index cards scattered around campus notifying students about an upcoming activity and to have them follow College of DuPage on social media to stay in the loop.
Phase 2: Execution time
• 5 (maybe more) disposable cameras around busy areas on campus– $28.10 for a 5 pack on Amazon– $5 to get film developed and 0.12 cents a print
• This is all rough research
Phase 2(cont.): Execution time• The disposable cameras will be in
a small box or container and attached to it will be a small poster like this one. Additionally we should put a note on it to have the students follow us on social media.
• We’ll leave the cameras out in the morning and pick them up later on probably in the afternoon
Phase 3: Photo development and social media sharing
• Get all of the photos developed and printed (exclude the inappropriate ones) and put them up in a similar style like this.
Phase 3(cont.): Photo development and social media sharing
• We can even take it an extra length and create a photo album on Facebook with all these photos on there
