Social Media Highlights:Webinars: From 12-1:30pm ET on Tuesdays and Thursdays in September, Clery Center will host webinars focused on taking the first step in addressing several different areas of campus safety. Join us for conversations on bridging systems for Title IX and Clery reporting, answering basic foundational questions on the Clery Act, strategizing effective primary prevention programming, and more. We encourage participants to submit their own questions on webinar topics ahead of time so we can incorporate answers into the webinars. Please email all questions to [email protected] by August 31, 2017 with the subject “[Webinar Title] Webinar Question”. We will incorporate as many questions as possible into the webinars.

National Hazing Prevention Week is September 18th-22nd. You can download Clery Center’s We Don’t Haze film and companion materials for free on the NCSAM website.

Things to Consider:• Are your social media posts representative of your campus community? Could you engage members of your campus to help create

messages that are culturally relevant and inclusive of the diverse communities and identities within your institution?• Consider accessibility in your posts on social media. For example, are you providing a written caption to your images that can be

translated aloud for the visually impaired?
