The objectives for West Virginia Studies explore historic, geographic, economic and civic concepts.

The relationship among geographic factors, settlement patterns, and economic development of West Virginia will be explored in this course. The cultural heritage of the various groups who settled West Virginia will be researched through classroom activities.
