The EPII boards are configured in active/standby mode, and only the active EPII board is connected with the trunk cable through its DB50 trunk port, as shown in Figure 6-18. After out of the panel of EPII, the trunk cables pass through the cabling trough of the cabinet in horizontal direction, and then are out of the cabinet by upward or downward cabling along the left column of the cabinet.
